Laurits Leedjärv Talks About Exoplanets and Host Stars on Kuku Radio

On 15 October, EXOHOST team member Laurits Leedjärv appeared on Kuku Radio’s programme “Kuku pärastlõuna” to discuss the upcoming international conference in Tartu, where scientists from around the world will explore the latest research on exoplanets and their host stars – Exploring Star-Planet-Disk Connections Conference.

Leedjärv highlighted how advances in both space-based telescopes and increasingly capable ground-based observatories are revolutionizing our understanding of planetary systems beyond the Solar System. He also reflected on the broader questions of planetary formation and life in the universe, noting that while Earth-like worlds may be rare, ongoing research continues to expand our knowledge of the cosmos.
