Alexandra Lehtmets, a researcher from the EXOHOST team, recently participated in the 5ᵗʰ Advanced School on Exoplanetary Science (ASES-5), held from 26–30 May 2025 in Vietri sul Mare (Salerno), Italy.

ASES-5 – which focused on “Physical and Dynamical Processes of Exoplanetary Systems” – brought together graduate students and young postdoctoral researchers to explore key topics such as protoplanetary disk physics, dynamical evolution of planetary systems, exoplanet interiors, atmospheric modeling, and planet formation. Alexandra Lehtmets gave a talk titled “Investigating circumstellar atomic radiation-driven dynamics”.

Lehtmets’s contribution aligns with her broader research within EXOHOST on how stellar radiation influences the environments around exoplanets and debris disks. Her presentation underscored the role of atomic radiation in shaping circumstellar dynamics — a topic with strong implications for planet formation and evolution.
