EXOHOST researcher Alexandra Lehtmets participated in the Autumn School of the Estonian Physics Society, held on 18 October 2024 in Voore Puhkekeskus, Estonia, where she delivered a talk titled “Eksoplaneetide teke ja atmosfääride evolutsioon” (“Formation of Exoplanets and Evolution of Their Atmospheres”).

In her presentation, Lehtmets introduced the processes shaping exoplanet formation, from early protoplanetary disks to mature planetary systems. She also discussed how different stellar environments influence atmospheric evolution, including atmospheric loss, chemical changes, and long-term stability — key factors for understanding planetary diversity and habitability.

Her lecture sparked active discussion among participants and highlighted EXOHOST’s engagement in outreach and scientific education within the Estonian physics community.
